Paris and Versailles - Paris is home to some of the most instantly recognisable landmarks in the world. There's almost too much to see in the French capital, but we'll help you tick off many of its best sights on our sightseeing tour of Paris. We'll weave through its patchwork of arrondissements, seeing L'Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Élysées, the River Seine, the Louvre and more. As we journey through the city, our expert Tour Manager will reveal the rich tapestry of its history.
Later, we'll leave Paris and take the short drive to Versailles. Our timed entry guarantees access to one of the most opulent palaces in the world. Versailles is home to an abundance of gilded, excess-driven rooms that put France on the road to revolution. You can roam the magnificent Royal Apartments with sweeping ceilings, view some of the 60,000 remarkable works of art and visit the famous Hall of Mirrors - the historic spot where the Treaty of Versailles was signed, ending the First World War.

Once you've admired the elaborately decorated insides, you could head to the Grand Trianon (Louis XIV and his mistress’ pink marbled escape within the palace walls) and the Petit Trianon (gifted to Marie Antonette by Louis XVI) for smaller, yet not less opulent, scenes. Perhaps you'll visit Marie Antoinette’s commissioned ‘peasant village’ which shines a light on how out of touch the King and Queen were with their subjects. Or, instead, simply stroll through the gardens admiring the numerous ornate fountains, exquisite sculptures and splendid baroque garden designs.

Enjoy the VIP treatment as we skip the queues with our timed entry. Our tickets allow ample time to explore the palace and grounds at your own pace before returning to the city mid-afternoon for time to relax or continue exploring Paris.
This evening, we'll discover why Paris is called the 'City of Lights' on a tour of Paris by night. The entire city becomes a work of art as its architecture is intensified by tasteful illuminations. The lights sparkle, reflecting in the River Seine, and the majestic Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline marking each passing hour with an eye-catching display.

There's also time at leisure to sample some of the famous Parisian nightlife, seek out delicious French cuisine or return to our comfortable hotel for a gentle evening of relaxation.
Montmartre - Paris boasts many beautiful and charming neighbourhoods, but none is more beloved than Montmartre. Crowned by the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, this area was once an artistic hub where luminaries like Monet, Renoir, and Degas lived or worked.

With ample time to wander its charming cobbled streets, you can stop to peruse painters selling their pieces in Place du Tertre and or stop to marvel at the thoughtful works of street art that decorate the faded façades of buildings - we'd recommend seeking out Le mur de je t’aime, which features the phrase “I love you” written in over 250 languages.

Of course, there are more famous Parisian sights to see too such as the Moulin Rouge, where Toulouse-Lautrec found most of his models, Vincent Van Gogh’s and Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s houses, the famous club of the Lapin Agile, and the oldest vineyard in Paris.
After exploring Montmartre, the afternoon is free to sightsee or relax as you wish. You could climb the Eiffel Tower for panoramic views or enjoy a cruise on the Seine to see the city from a different perspective. Perhaps you'll visit the gothic Notre Dame cathedral, which has recently reopened in 2024 after a five-year restoration project following the devastating fire of 2019.

Alternatively, why not slow down to browse amongst the antique shops, wander around the picturesque public gardens or window shop? While Paris has an incredible range of attractions to entertain, its atmosphere is best soaked up in the cobbled backstreets - getting lost is half the fun.

This evening, you could choose to visit one of the best cabarets in the city, the stunning Paradis Latin.
Personalise your holiday -
Experience the legendary Paradis Latin

Price: £146pp

Experience glamorous 19th-century Paris at the world’s oldest cabaret and Gustave Eiffel’s legendary theatre.
